Learnscapes: Critical Case for Billing and Coding

In the first Learnscape, you are a CRP at a community Hospital where there has been a reduction in revenue reported over the last three months. You must determine where the source of this problem lies and what can be done about it. In Week 1, work through the Learnscape scenario.  As you complete each part, working through each issues, you will complete parts on the Assessment which will be presented to you at the end for download.

3. Understanding Charge Masters and Bill Types
4. Role of Claims Editing in the Bill Submission Process

In Week 1, you will need to complete the following for this assignment:

2. Submit a summation of three things you learned from the scenario. Be sure to do additional research in order to fully explain the concepts you choose to discuss. Your submission should be of graduate quality, in APA format, and fully referenced (a minimum of 3 peer-reviewed references).
