Thayer-Bacon states that there are five values of constructive thinking and learning (Mezirow & Taylor, 2009, p. 50): collaborative, deep learning, reflection, engagement, and caring.
In this assignment, you will discuss the five values presented by Thayer-Bacon’s concept and align their relevance as they relate to the LASA final project, due in Module 7.
Tasks:
In about 350 words, respond to the following:
Imagine that you have been hired as the new leader of an institution. Apply Thayer-Bacon’s five values to your situation.
Comment on the manner in which you will promote an environment of positivity and motivation among employees, faculty, and students while maintaining the role of a leader in your institution.
Identify a strategy for introducing yourself to your stakeholders.
Identify ways to promote acceptance and at the same time show others that you are committed to bringing about positive change in the institution.
