Case Study 1
Develop a visual support for a ten-year old boy with anxiety, who also has autism. He is verbal, and can have significant behaviours when he gets anxious. His anxiety is triggered by recess or the ringing of the bell for changing classes. His parents would like to start him on medication, but this also brings out anxiety in him. Explain how you will implement your visual aid to help him overcome his anxiety.

Case Study 2
Develop a visual support for a twelve-year old girl who is getting more and more anxious about coming to school. She is typically developing. Her anxiety first started two years ago after a bullying incident. Even though she hasn’t been bullied again since then, she has become increasingly anxious about coming to school, and some mornings will refuse to leave the house. She has developed a school phobia. Her parents are desperate for help. Explain how you will implement your visual aid to help her overcome her anxiety.

Case Study 3
Develop a visual support for a fifteen-year old boy with CP. Over the summer break he lost the ability to walk and is now anxious about coming back to school as he is sure his peers will laugh at him. He has also stopped socializing with family and friends over the summer, and seems to have developed social anxiety disorder. Explain how you will implement your visual aid to help him overcome his anxiety.

Case Study 4
Develop a visual support for a seven-year old girl with generalized anxiety. She has her good days and bad days. On her bad days, even though she will come to school, it is difficult to get her into the classroom, and then every transition becomes a challenge. Her parents are not able to say what triggers those mornings, but they recognize signs that a bad day might be coming. Explain how you will implement your visual aid to help her overcome her anxiety.
