The assessment will evaluate key knowledge and skills that you have learned through the course and whether you can apply it to solve a real business problem, which is the pandemic Covid-19’s impact on educational institutions.

As of April 13th, 2020, nationwide closures of schools and universities have been mandated in 192 countries (out of 195 countries in the world!). The closures have impacted close to 1.6 billion learners worldwide, accounting for 91.4 percent of enrolled learners. The disruption has prompted almost all educational institutions to adopt distance learning solutions (World Bank, 2020).

The majority of you experienced the school closure in Vietnam from February through May 2020 and many of you engaged in online learning to finish your high school program or to study semester 1 2020 at RMIT.

For assignment 3b, you will play a role as a business analyst team and your task is to design an online learning solution for an educational institution of your choice, such as RMIT. The aim of the solution is to provide a satisfactory learning experience for learners based on technological tools that you have learned in the course such as learning management systems (Canvas, Google Classroom), communication tools (Microsoft Teams, Zoom), and presentation tools (Microsoft 365, YouTube).

You are expected to apply the design thinking approach, based on your own experience, to define what is the learners’ satisfactory learning experience for online learning (demand analysis), then identify a simple online learning solution based on up-to-three common technological tools (business solution design), and explain how the tools work together to meet learners’ expectations (business solution implementation).

State the main purpose of the report and its layout
Analysis (~ 1400 words)
Define what is a satisfactory learning experience for online learning
Identify factors that influence the satisfactory learning experience of learners for online learning
Identify technological tools and their features that could be adopted for online learning
Recommendation (~ 1300 words)
Suggest a simple online learning solution based on the selected technological tools discussed above (up to three tools) to provide a satisfactory learning experience for learners.
